Dig an Iron Age Coastal Promontory in Pembrokeshire
Porth y Rhaw Iron Age Fort
1st July 19th July

Porth y Rhaw, one of the most impressive coastal promontory forts in Wales, is slowly being lost to the sea. Our excavations in the 1990s showed that fort was occupied for almost a thousand years from the eighth century BC. We are now returning to investigate the massive and complex entrance.

Contact Fran Murphy if you are interested in participating on this excavation - f.murphy@dyfedarchaeology.org.uk
