Excavations and Field Surveys

Some of the benefits of carrying out archaeological excavation and fieldwork include the excitement of discovering history beneath your feet, learning new skills, the health benefits of working outside in the fresh air, making new friends, spending time with old ones too – and much much more!

Working on archaeological excavations and surveys proves to be one of the most popular volunteering opportunities we offer.

We work on a variety of sites across the counties of Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire including St Patrick’s Chapel, Whitesands Bay, Pembrokeshire, St Ishmael’s Carmarthenshire, and Ynyslas Wrecks Ceredigion.
