Dyfed Archaeological Trust’s Heritage Management team is the regional archaeological curator, covering Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. We provide information and advice to help understand, appreciate and manage the historic environment, including individual finds, sites and landscapes.
We work with national and local government, non-governmental organisations, community groups and individuals at a strategic and local level. Our aim is to make sure that decisions that affect the historic environment are well informed.
There are two sections to the department; the Planning Team work with local planning authorities to provide archaeological advice, and the Heritage Management Team offer advice on other non-planning matters.
